Silver Maples - keep in sealed plastic or in tubes?
I have a set of Canadian Silver Maples, which seems to be a real nice silver coin, probably my favorite.
They come in these 10 round plastic sleeves that hold them. Sometimes they get discolored. Question, does one keep these coins in plastic sleeves or put them in 20-round tubes? The tubes seem more practical and easier to manage. I don't think they will never have collectible value, at least the ones I have. |

KEEP THEM IN THEIR ORIGINAL PLASTIC!!!
They may get a little toneing on them in the plastic but they most likely will really get toneing on them if you take them our and put them in tubes |

Taking off maples from standard plastic sleeves might affect trade back prices.

Etc, try storing 500 rounds in plastic sleeving; you will need a car truck.

They are nice coins, but I don't think they have any real premium over generic bullion. Maybe they cost 50 cents higher than generic A-Mark,etc rounds? I got them for $14 each actually.
They are from the 80's. |

The 10 cut sheets from the mint hardly take up any more room then pastic sleeves or tubes.....they are still very stackable and just have to be placed on a shelf or in a box!!

They also sell them from the mint in tubes of 20.
